Frisee - With a slight bitter flavour, this green can be enjoyed raw in a salad (either with lettuce or on its own) or on a sandwich. Can also be sauteed with garlic!


Kale (green) - The options are endless! Here's a few to get you started....kale salad, kale chips, pile on a pizza, toss with pasta, sautee with lemon as a side dish or add to an omlette!


Beets (candy cane) - Though they might not look it on the outside, these beets add beautiful colour into a salad when thinly sliced to show their red and white rings

Green Tomatoes - Here's your chance to try fried green tomatoes! Easily prepared by dipping slices in an egg wash and then coating in corn meal or breading of your choice.

Although we do our utmost to rinse field dirt from everything in your share, it is not fully washed and we recommend that you wash everything before consumption to remove any remaining soil.

We do our best to avoid the use of plastic bags but for some items it is unavoidable in order to maintain product quality and for the practicality of transporting it home.
