Celeriac - Celeriac can be eaten raw, but is most commonly cooked. You can treat it like any root veg. Roast it as you would potatoes. Boil it and mash it with other root vegetables (especially potatoes!), or serve it on its own. It should take around 20 minutes to cook in boiling water until tender, and 30–40 minutes in a 180°C oven. It also adds amazing flavour to soups and stews. For additional flavour, the stems can also be cooked in a soup and then removed (similar to a bay leaf). Important!
Although we do our utmost to rinse field dirt from everything in your share, it is not fully washed and we recommend that you wash everything before consumption to remove any remaining soil.
We do our best to avoid the use of plastic bags but for some items it is unavoidable in order to maintain product quality and for the practicality of transporting it home.
