Backyard Poultry

Are you an aspiring poultry keeper interested in learning what it would take to keep a flock of backyard poultry (chicken, ducks etc.)?  This course is for you! Learn everything you need to know and do to be a confident poultry keeper of a happy, healthy, productive flock of birds!

Who this seminar is for

Anyone who wants to know what it takes to keep a backyard poultry flock and is interested in experiencing the fun and self reliance of keeping a flock.

IMPORTANT: Before considering chickens, check with your municipal bylaws to see if you are able to have poultry. Currently in the Township of Scugog you are NOT allowed chickens within the limits of town as well the limits of a hamlet. Your property must be zoned rural residential.

The seminar does not require any materials or previous knowledge - just come, listen and learn!
